Local Coffee Shops ☕?
Human Bean - Try their Mexi-Mocha is our go to flavor! They also have shaken espressos.
Mad Priest - We haven't had a Latte special we didn't like so far!
Food 🥑?
Tupelo Honey - This place is like a fancy restaurant with southern inspired food selection options. Great brunch options too. They make good drinks like a mimosas flights, Lattes and cocktails. Crispy Brussels is a great starter!
Amigos - Can't go wrong with local Mexican food! It's also a fairly lower priced sit down restaurant option. Kyl's favorite dish is the Lola's Tapatia.
Apna Kitchen - A mango lassi is a must!
Portofino's - Pastishio is a must! It is Stephanie's favorite! It's Greek version of Lasagna but better!
Totto Sushi and Grill - Try their jalapeno bombs! It's near Coolidge Park.
Ernest Chinese - Formerly the Flying Squirrel. This is a nice fancy Chinese restaurant with great cocktails!
State of Confusion - The name speaks for itself. It's a fusion restaurant with food influences including Peruvian, Latin, and Creole and the good ol' south. Kyl loves the Jambalaya. Stephanie tends to order something different every time but liked the Ceviches and Peruvian Paella.
Stuff to do?
Breakout Games - Try a real life Clue breakout game. It was fairly easy to navigate and the props etc were very well done.
Coolidge Park - Plenty of green space, view of the Tennessee River and a old fashioned carrousel. There are also some shops and restaurants to check out too. There's also Cardboard Hill if you have a piece of cardboard you can ride down the mountain! There's also a river boat if you're interested in that too!
NOTE!!! The Walnut pedestrian bridge is closed for renovations which is a pedestrian bridge that connects Downtown Chattanooga to Coolidge Park.
High Point Downtown - A huge, multi-level climbing gym downtown. It has auto belays, top rope, bouldering and a kids zone! Also there are some routes outside to try!
Spare Time Chattanooga - Great, small, low key arcade to check out. They also have laser tag and bowling, food and bar. They also have a real nice StepManiaX Dance game if you're into that.
